What can you buy in $0.50 today

It depends where you are but here in San Antonio, Texas with .50 I can get either a can of tuna or 5 packs of ramen noodles, I can get a .39 cent small bag of chips or a .49 cent 12oz can of soda if its on sale. Sometimes macaroni and cheese goes on sale 4 boxes for a dollar, then I can get 2 boxes. Sometimes I can get a can of beans and a bag of rice for .50 cents.

Some kinds of candy, a package of pudding mix, an apple or orange, a quart of gasoline, a bottle of bubbles, a can of soda, a popcycle, a small gourmet dog bisquit, a box of Jiffy cake mix, one fork, spoon or butterknife, a cup or glass, a plate, a small handheld toy, a hair ribbon ... All you have to do is look!

Sure you can buy candy...how about an apple, half a pound of bananas, a package of rubber bands, a poster board, a tampon from the machine in the bathroom, one cucumber, and actually various fruits...but probably only one. LOL
