I hear more and more people tell me they hate milk. Or they only drink it in their cereal. Or they have an intolerance to milk. I would die if I couldn't drink milk! I have been told twice to cut back on drinking so much, because I have built up calcium pockets in my joints. When I was a teenager I drank a gallon of milk in two days. I don't drink as much as I did, but I still love a big glass of milk several times a week. How about you do you drink milk? Do you like milk?

I used to drink a lot of milk, especially because I'm quite a cereal fanatic *laugh* But since sugar and other things in foods have started to affect me so badly, I try to stay away from milk even though the sugar in it is natural. It's just easier for me to drink water or diet soda that has no sugar content whatsoever. I do kind of miss drinking milk, but not all that much. You'd be surprised how many calories you can cut down on by taking caloric drinks out of your diet, too, and milk isnt' exactly low on calories unless you get skim milk, which I don't like the taste of. But I think that it's cool that you enjoy milk so much! ^_^

I love to drink milk and I cannot go to sleep without a glass of milk. A high school health teacher taught us that this habit makes us have greater chances of having beautiful night dreams! Would you like to try it? Or did you know about that already?

Yes, I am crazy about milk! Just like you, I just cant live without it. It seems that I am addicted to it. I feel week if I dont drink milk and will lose my appetite another food, kinda strange, but that's how it is lol. But I am kinda picky, because I only drink chocolate milk.

I really agree with you diego. Milk is essential only during Baby as it is an easily digestable food. But we can achive it with many other alternatives also.

Love it. I drink as much as you. Ice cold and Vitamin D. Someone told me it makes your face breakout, which happens to me. I wonder if that is true?

savingsibes,
What you told is true. But its really harmful to add milk in your diet after certain age. You can go for the milk being applied to face externally neither by consuming it if you only want that. Vitamins which you can get from citrus fruits itself. protein is very much less in it. So mother and pregnant ladies who do need protein a lot can stick on to lots of raw Beans, Fish, Dal which are full of proteins.

Some reading materials are always supportive of the health benefits of milk, but as you know, some asians and africans have problems with the milk food. There are people that are lactose intolerant and they are common in the Asian countries and some African countries. Although there is no real conclusive study about the problem with milk drinking in these countries, it was found that overall, the milk added to one's diet, greatly improves the children's growth in these countries and children develops great resistance to disease.

Well, to tell you the truth actually I really do love milk very much. However, my stomach is intolerant to milk. Whenever I feel like craving to drink milk I will drink it for a cup and that's all. I've tried drinking milk consecutively for 3 days and I got a terrible diarrhoea! But I've just browsed through the net yesterday about substitute to milk, and most of it is about consuming yoghurt. Natural yoghurt is the best substitute to milk and it has good bacteria in it to keep us fit and maintain youth. I am thinking of consuming yoghurt starting from this week and see the results. If my stomach can digest it, then I'll continue taking it for the rest of my life.

As a child I hated milk. As I have aged, I have recently started liking it a little better. I especially like it with a rich desert. Sometimes late at night I am starting to crave a glss of milk. Family who have always known me to hate milk are very surprised! I used to eat my cereal dry, with no milk! Now, I actually am beginning to like milk in my cereal! Strange how our tastes change as we age.

I'm one of the many folks who don't drink milk because I'm lactose intolerant. And because I don't enjoy the taste of milk. I do however drink chocolate rice milk. I honestly don't know how much nutrition I can get out of it but hey, I love the taste and it's all that matters to me!

Are you sure the joint buildup is from drinking so much milk?
I love milk myself. Preferably Skim/Fat Free. I can't stand stuff that "sticks" to my spoon. That's just kinda weird.
I wont freak out if that's all we have in the fridge, but I'd much rather prefer fat free than to even touch Vitamin D, or Whole milk.
