can a person change?

Do you think a person can truly change? Or is it possible for someone to change another? I think it's not possible, so perhaps I can just say to whoever will ask me this question: "You wish!" Still, there might be hope. That's why I am asking you this question because you might have encountered someone (or could be you!) who has changed totally, as in a 360 degree turnaround! What if your loved one promised you that he/she would change for the better, would you believe him/her?

Everyone of us have all good and bad quality within us. The image or personality of a person depends upon to which habit/quality we give priority. So change depends upon our priority and mentality. Surely a loved one can change the behaviour of a person amazingly, if he/she is in the high priority list.

So, it's possible to change a person, or to change one's attitude and ways for someone, right? Now that you said it, it could be true! But I guess it takes a lot of work too, and commitment to change! Thanks for your input!
