Brandy was in a car accident a month ago. She was driving on the freeway and crashed into the back of a woman's car and that woman's car hit another car. The woman who was hit by Brandy died at a hospital. The police are currently reviewing the case. The charge is a maximum sentence to one year in county jail and $1,000 fine. They say she wasn't under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If this was an accident do you think the sentence is fair? What if she was speeding and the accident was her fault, is this sentence for her still fair? Do you think she will be getting special treament because she is a celebrity?

It will go one way or another. Either she will get off easy or the judge will throw the book at her to make an example. I don't think she has a chance at anything in between so I don't think it will be fair one way or the other.

From what I've heard she wasn't getting any special treatment. It seems the police want her charged with the crime. But I also heard that she was willing to take the blame for the crime, and felt really bad about it. I think all things in life happen for a reason, and there must've been a reason for this to happen, regardless of how sad the nature of it is. I think it was an accident though, so maybe she will get a lighter sentence, if any.
