I like history and studying about World War II all myself because our town was devastated during the World War II. So what's your favorite subject about the History?

I am a complete history buff and love studying many time periods. I've been particularly interested in World War II lately and am trying to keep all the dates and places apart in my head. I think what I like most about history is studying about the common person. What were the peasants' and villagers' lives like, the plain, everyday people who became our ancestors? I think I'm more interested in this than in the easy-to-research lives of the rich and famous.

I love studying and learning history. My favorite thing to study is the Native Americans and cowboys. I love to learn about different culture and how they came about doing things.

count me in. i love studying history in general. as a journalism student, i believe that reporting on the current issues calls for a sufficient background in history. the adage says "we learn from history that men learned nothing from is." the problem is despite the richness of human history, people would be willing to forget the past as if they had to chart their own pattern from today. i hope that each of us would be reminded that the events in our contemporary lives are not far from the events of the past. the differences in setting is notable but the intangible concepts of history hardly change from time to time.

History has a lot to say about who we are. It should be part of our quest to know the past and understand today and future better.
