I hate it when people answer my posts with simple "I don't know" and I can't stand it even more when they spell that phrase wrong. Do you get a lot of "I don't know" answers to your posts on my Lot? Do you get many insults on your my Lot posts? I had one person tell me that I shouldn't be able to have kids because I have tattoos.

Well, I haven't received any short, non relevant answers yet. I know that if I had, I would have definately given it a "-" as I am an advocate of answering relevantly and trying to the best of my knowledge to contribute to the discussion. From what I understand, if a reply is hit by a "-", then the payout is less than the standard 3 cents or nothing at all. At least I'm hoping that's the case.

Well just hold your temper and chill out girl. You should be prepared for that encounter since members here are from different cultures and have different set of mind. Of course you expect to have good response since you posted a good discussion but then some members don't see it that way so I must say expect what is unexpected and don't let get affected. Cheers!!!

I haven't had that many here, several on yahoo answrs though. I wish I could take away the points they earned by simply putting a . or an I don't know or insults, I would be up at least 2 levels than I am right now. I think that people who do this are very bitter lonely people who aren't happy unless they can hurt at least 1 person's feelings a day. I report them all.

people seem touchy on here not everyone of course but some are. there are a lot of religious people on here and people from europe and asia they probably dont agree with tattoo's so thats why they probably said that, its not a nice thing to say to someone though is it? i mean if i didnt like tattoo's i wouldnt go round saying things like that to someone, there are certain opinions better kept to yourself.

Thats crazy never heard that one before. no kids cause got tatoos! So far I've been lucky, no insults yet! But I must say there is alot of rubbish on here this week. I have been really struggling to find some decent discussions or at least ones I haven't responded to for someone else!

i always wonder why they even bother responding at all. but you are right about people being really uptight about certain subjects. whoever told you that you aren't fit to be a mother because of your tattoos was totally out of line. who thinks like that?

I don't, as a rule, get many "I Don't Knows" on my discussions; I don't get many replies in my discussions as it is, but IDKs are rare. I get a few one-liners, and sometimes they are from foreigners.

I don't no
Ahhhh, I was trying to fool you. I think the short answers are people trying to boost their numbers. That's all fine and dandy and I am sure that there are a lot of people that welcome that but I prefer a little quality with my quantity ...

I've been lucky so far. I get a few of those kinds of answers but not a lot. I rate them low and ignore them. Also, I haven't gotten nasty replies yet, either, but I answer more posts than I make of my own. Some people are just idiots and need to be ignored. We all have opinions but people don't need to be rude and hateful, which is what that comment to you about not being able to have kids is. Rate them low and then try to ignore them. Apparently they don't have anything else better to do than be mean.

i haven't actually gotten an 'i don't know' yet,
i get 'i don't knows' usually followed by something substantial and the initial 'i don't know' is more like 'i'm not sure', but no insults yet, no one has the right to judge you, especially here, cuz we just got to know each other,
you shouldn't really think about people who say such things, usually people who say mean things are sad or hurt people themselves that's why they like to take other people down with them, that's the story of every bully.
As long as none of those comments come from any of your friends, you have nothing to worry about.

I haven't gotten any I don't know answers, but I have gotten a few one line answers rather than what I was fishing for. Of course when we post our discussions we all hope that the responses will at least be somewhat substantial, but at least I guess I should just be happy they didn't say I don't know.
As far as the insults go, that is horrible that someone said that to you. I haven't gotten anything like that, but I have seen some other terrible things said to other members. I assumed that it was between members who already had some kind of grudge going on between themselves, but maybe not.
it is a shame when people have to act this way. Whenever I see it, I always give them a negative rating. Depending on what exactly is said, I sometimes report them to mylot as well.

Yes.. I get this sometimes. But usually they are sandwiched among others so I am not THAT p***ed off. If I have only 5 responses to my discussions and 2 are "I don't know", I would feel greatly irked. :P
