My partner and I had a misunderstanding. Try as I might, he doesn't seem likely to forgive me. I try to woe him again to earn his forgiveness but he seems distant and I feel he is drifting away from me. Please help me...what should I do for my partner to forgive me? I tried explaining many times and says that it is just a joke...I didn't mean what I said...Apologized nth times but this doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

Sorry but I can't stop it. He's been my life for 8 years now and I cannot let a misunderstanding ruin our relationship. Call me nuts, but I won't let go...

Try stopping wooing him back. If still there's nothing oing on maybe its good to move on with your life. Sometimes being wooed by women makes us men feel more irritated especially if you've really made a mistake its quite hard for us to really forgive. You haven't mentioned what you've done to pissed hime off like that. Last resort you initiate a serious talk about what he really plans to your partnership to really know what is in his heart then from there you could go on with you life with or without him around.

Thanks for the advice. But I really want to win him back, no matter what. I really love this guy...and would do anything. I have initiated serious talk but he still seems uncertain on what to do...Do you guys really take time to sober after a misunderstanding?
