I usually file my taxes online. If you go onto the IRS website you will see companies there with their link for free file. I usually use HR Block.

In India, individuals can file their incometax through computer. One can compute one's income with the help of guidelines given by Income Tax Department. Otherwise by paying a small fee, they can get it done by an auditor. There is a SARAL form which has to be filled and if the Tax is payable, one has to pay it in prescribed nationalised bank and submit the form there. Aftersome time, the department issues assessment order.
