Do you have prostate cancer or know someone who does?

I was wondering about prostate cancer because my boyfriend thinks he has signs of it. What are the symptoms? Does it affect your se* life and how does it affect your se* life? Could this just be a form of erectile dysfunction or what? thanks in advance.

My Father-in-law had it about a year ago and he is in remission. He first noticed that his urine stream was stop and go and sometimes almost non-existent. His treatment consisted of those little radioactive ball fragment things - so sorry I can't think of the technical term but it looks like buck shot from a shotgun. Anyway it worked for him and he is doing fine now. Usually prostate cancer effects older men but have him go see a urologist ASAP. Also have him go to www.cancer.gov and look up prostate cancer. Have him look at the symptoms to see if he is experiencing anything like that.

As an assistant to a certified nutritionist I have worked with many who have had prostate cancer one of the signs that seems to be the most obvious is the inablility to get or keep an errection. If your boyfriend feels there is something wrong he should always trust his gutt and get it checked out. Advise him to see his doctor right away if caught early enough he can fully recover but going untreated would be life threatening. Best wishes...

ususally one in two men over the age of forty develop prostate problems..due to the testosterone levels falling in men as time goes on..my father had a prostate op years ago and he has been fine since then..i recommend the taoist deer exercise for men..this makes them very strong and helps to eradicate prostate trouble..also if one can make love without releasing the semen..or jing as the chinese call it can also strengthen the prostate..i recommend dr stephen chang's tao of sexology book..

Hi Peebles,
it seems that prostate cancer is not your boyfriend's problem. How old is he? Prostate cancer are assymptomatic and are very rare in pacients with less than 40 years old. The only produce symptoms when the are advanced, and they would be like backpain and dificulty to void, like waking up at night many times to void.
