It's a really great song but I do not think it's the ultimate. That's just my opinion though. This song reminds me of my mom. I lost her young to cancer just like Billy lost his father so I can relate and it always makes me feel sad that she's gone when I listen to it.

I never get tired of Greenday and especially that song. I must listen to it on my computer at least two to three times a day. I've got all the tunes from American Idiot on my iTunes.

boulevard of broken dreams is a very good song, but not the "ultimate" song of green day, im sorry. in my opinion, the two "ultimate" songs of green day are "when i come around" and "good riddance". those two songs are what made green day popular, and what got them millions of fans. when "good riddance" came out, it was on every radio station all the time, and EVERYONE loved it. same with "when i come around". those two songs are the type of songs you cannot get sick of, no matter how many times you listen to it. boulevard got played out very quickly.

There are lots of great songs from Greenday beside the Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I like the Good Riddance and Poprock and Coke of their old albums.

I love the song Boulevard of Broken Dreams. But I don't think it's the ultimate song of Green Day. I think that honor belongs to Long View.

yup rite. its the best 1 they got till now but the thing is that all their songs r different n amazing!!!.

i think that boulevard of broken dreams is a great song...but not the ultimate(i love jesus of suburbia).i'm sure that in the future they will come up with some greater songs because Green Day rocks!
