February 14th is the feast of Christian Martyrs Valentine, but it has nothing to do with the custom, observed by people in many countries of sending cards, flowers or presents to one's sweetheart on this day. In UK the custom is to send a valentine card without signing one's name.? How much significance you attach to the valentine's day and Why?

I think it's the capitalist society that made Valentine's Day important. Big businesses benefit when people buy things for each other, like Christmas. It's popularity has further been intensified because people would indeed want theire loved ones to be happy and make them feel special.

In my opinion Valentine day is a day who gives a opportunity every year to
1) show our love to ur own
2) spend whole day with them
3) sending cards or flower to beloved one like child, family members, husband etc.
it is a day of happiness just forget all the tear and pain and enjoy the day by wishing all members of family, friends and spend whole day with ur husband and daughter .
that it .
