We currently rent, it's okay. Of course it's better to own your own apartment or house, but as we rent our landlord is obliged to fix anything that's broken or pay people to fix it for us. If we owned our own place then that would all come out of our own pocket so there's a good side to renting too. The only downside is that our landlord is very slow, but we're getting used to that by now, hehe.

We would love to own a house one day. We are new to USA so we are pretty much starting all over again. At the moment we are renting and it hasn't been that bad. Our landlord is ok, and fixes things when they need to be fixed.

I have owned homes and I have rented homes. I presently rent a house, because it is cheaper. If something breaks down I do not have to spend the money to repair it. But when you own a home it is yours and it is a good investment. I do own a home but I rent it out to someone else. I will buy another home to retire in, but for now I like renting.

well we own apartments in the city we just moved and we still own the houses in the place we used to live as children. we also own this one, the one we are living in right now. we did think of selling this house and buy a lot so we can built our own house we decided to be like. we were able to have ideas what we wanted in the backyard, how big we wanted our rooms and what we wanted in it. we also thought of a playroom for the house and space to have our family dance when we have get together and raining outside they can dance inside. but something happened i dont know what, all my brother said is we are not going to do it no more.

Obviously owning a house is much better that renting one. It saves you all the hassles that come with renting like getting along with your landlord or worrying about next month's rent.
