You may or may not ever forgive me for this silliness but it was so hysterical to me I have to carry on with it.
A mutal friend of ours is a Flight attendant for and Airline that makes trans atlantic flights often.
In the middle of a 22 hour flight the air was a bit bumpy so not many people were asleep. So she to help break the tension and get everyone cheered up she gets on the microphone and announces that she is taking a survey and wanted to know if she could get everyone's participation. She asked them to take out a pen and paper and put whether they were male or female first, then she wanted to know when they use the restroom "Do you wad up the toilet tissue to use it, or do you fold it to use it.
Interesting statistics! In most cases the MEN Fold and the Women Wad. ! LOL
I assume that's because Women rarely have the time to sit read a magazine, and fold the paper nicely. We do our business, wash our hands, and go on to the next task?
So... which is it? WADER or FOLDER?

Okay, how did I miss this question for an entire week?! Now that I have finished laughing, I will admit that my husband and I fit the 'statistics' perfectly, he folds and I wad! Wow, I think I see a doctoral thesis in this somewhere. Can you imagine the title of the study, "Gender Differences in Wiping Preferece, A Study of the Wad versus Fold Technique."

LOL that would be something to read wouldn't it. Guaranteed not to bore the readers!
I am just amazed at the overall stats' on this. It hold true that men are folders and women are waders. It's just so funny. I must write to Nancy and remind her again how many more people have enjoy her survey from 30,000 ft. up LOL.
Glad it gave you a smile

ROFL! This is priceless... how can you not answer this question? :D I wad! Sometimes I think it's because I'm too cheap to buy the really "good" toilet tissue ... perhaps wadding makes it "cushier" LOL! Mrs. Whipple I ain't!

I am an inbetween....golly what does that make me?!? I don't fold perfectly, but it is not a wad either. This post is so personal, but how can you not answer!
I will know more about mylotian bathroom customs than I do that of my own husband or children. I think I am going to have to ask them. Mom's really lost it this time!!! I can hear it already :)
Your friend is hysterical! What a tension breaker. She should be commended!

ALLY- your right she is hysterical, can you imagine those poor people on that flight? what an ice breaker huh?
She is always thinking up silly things to do or places to go. Last year we all went down to San Juan Capistrano and MOONED the amtrak for the annual mooning event, she wore a big huge plastic butt!!!
So yes... this was mild by comparison.

Thank you.... ya know it was just about the funniest thing I had heard at the time I heard it, I bet I giggled for hours. It sure makes you look at everyone a little differently when they come out of that stall. LOL.
Hope your daughter thinks it's funny too and mot that her Mom has lost her mind LOL.
Have fun

Well the truth be known Men live for their private time in the "reading room" as my hubby calls it. So heck yeah they could fold til their lil hearts are content. We women have 50 things going on and we are multitasking, we get in there do our business "wad-wipe-and go!" that's our M.O.
thanks for your comment.

That is so funny...as soon as I read the statistics I laughed. I am a wadder and my husband folds. Well, at least he folds it for our little girl who is still learning about the potty. He will fold it all nice and flat and then lay it on the counter next to her...all ready for her. I just pull it off the roll, fling it around my hand a few times and it's good to go...just like you said! :)
