Here are a few I thought to mention: They told me at the blood bank that this might happen. This is just a 15 minute power nap like they raved about in that time management course you sent me to. I was working smarter - not harder. Whew! I must have left the top off the whiteout. I wasn't sleeping! I was meditating on the mission statement and envisioning a new paradigm! This is one of the seven habits of highly effective people! I was testing the keyboard for drool resistance. fell free to add yours to this list.

How about saying you was resting your eyes because you felt a migraine coming on it gets lots of sympathy. Cause everyone gets headaches and migraines and those are bummer .

I'm just so fascinated by this company's staff management policies that I went into a deep trance thinking about the wonderful work our bosses inspire us to do. It must have caused me to fall asleep, I'm so sorry, I think you are all wonderful here. You treat your staff really well!

Tell them you are on an antibiotic that makes you extremely tired, that you were up all night with a crying child, or that you've been having some family problems.
