guys, i want to know what you really feel or why did you took up the course? money or passion?
at first, it was my parent's choice. at that time,i dont have any plans yet, what to take up, so i followed them, maybe i dont wanna disppoint them. they said, i'll be rich with that career. i know it's true because nurses are in demand internationally. but then, somehow along the way, ive learned to love it because if i wouldnt, i wont be a RN right now. i believe, you should also have the passion in choosing watever field you want. you should be happy in everything you're doing. and i am! and i guess, that's that way up to success!

Hi i just passed my nurse licensure exam last december2006 and im really happy because all my hard work for the past years was really worth it. As to your question, why i took up nursinf, is it for the money or passion? well i am a second courser so definite;y part of my intention was all about money. Earning in the Philippines is not enough to support the needs of the family. I was actually not forced by my parents to take that course because it was solely my decision. When i was still young, i wanted to be nurse but because there was no opportunities before for nurses, i took a business course. My mom is a nurse so i am very much aware about the things she do in the hospital and even when i was still young, i used to visit her there. When i started having my duties in the hospital, i came to appreciate everything ive learned from school in the clinical setting. I never regret taking up the course coz i do love it now. Its difficuly to care for patients if you do not love what your doing. Maybe now i can say that i took nursing both for money and passion.

Haha same here, after graduating from highschool,I really have no idea as to what course I really wanted to take for college,so my mom asked me to take up nursing since it was highly in demand at that time(still up to now). When I reached second year college,I wanted to shift to another course but then I realized that im almost in the middle of the big challenge,so why go back to zero? Im a very positive person,so even if things don't work out the way I want it,I still manage to smile because I always look on the brighter side of things, that's why eventhough I didn't wholeheartedly take up nursing, ive learned to love it along the way.
I also passed the NLE last December 2006. Goodluck to us! Take care! :)
