I have a doubt, can anybody clear it?

I have heard some of the people saying..An EGG comes under Vegetarian items. And some of the other people say NO it is a Non-Veg item!
I think any of you is defenitely clear my doubt here. Please let me know is an egg a VEG or Non-veg? and justify. (Waiting for best response) Thanks.

those eggs that are available in market acn not be used to get chickens out of them.
and hence they are not made by natural process, hence these are the vegetarian.

its poultry i tem comin frm live chickens so how can it b counted as a VEG...its a non veg i think
