Dropping out of highschool

in my country, a lot of people drop out of highschool and not even finish grade school due to poverty. although the public schools here are subsidized by the government, still a lot of young people drop out since they rather work and help their parents in earning for their household than go to school. i can safely say that our current situation here is that school has become a luxury, not a privilege and it is very sad to see all those young people not getting good education.
