How can i get rid of tangled fur of my shitzu? We can't afford to cut them and might endup with bald shitzu. :(

I suggest you look for a pet parlor near your place just to be sure all is done well on your shitzu.

I would use a conditioner on the fur after the bath. Then comb out as much as possible. You may need to cut out the matted hair, but eventually you will get it. I know what you mean, I have a chow-chow and she has a lot of fur. She has to be brushed atleast 2-3 times a week. If something happens and she does not get brushed, it takes twice as long when I do get to it. Another possibility, call a pet groomer to get some suggestions. There are also detanglers on the market. Did you know, that when a dog gets brushed and the fur is all soft and smooth, the dog actually prances around? It is like they know they look better and need to show off. I know my chow-chow does!

Thanks dude, I just came from a Mall trying to find a good brand of detangler, one petshop suggested a "leave-on" type conditioner but I doubt the product because it's kinda old and look expired. Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciated it really.
