Hi. I have been in Bacolod only once. I went there due to our office work. We have a client there that we need to solicit his accounts. Actually we went to Iloilo first then travel by boat I think by Super Ferry going to Bacolod.
yes, Bacolod City was named as City of Smile, the people there are very friendly and always smile. We go to a Sugar Factory in there, I think it is called Azucarera by them.
There we saw how the sugar was made from bunch of sugarcanes. We also had seen how the Molasses has been made. It was really a great experience for me of going there. When we go home, we have sugarcanes, sugar and the biscuits that our Client has given me. When there is chance I would to go back again to Bacolod.

hi! Bacolod City is known to be the "The City of Smile" Because for me Bacolodnons are friendly and joyful persons..These are the things that i can share you with so if youll visit bacolod it will be more memorable and one the best cities in the Philippines: 1st: The Chicken Inasal its very delicous bacolod has its Manokan Country and you can eat bare hands, remember the Metopolitan Basketball Assoc "Negros slasher" for best chicken and for derby are best found in bacolod. 2nd: The night life Bacolod is a little new york in the philippines people their are party goers and party they go to a certain place called "Golden Field Commercial Complex" all bars and party activities are just in the same area. so when i was in bacolod we usually go home 4-5 in the wee hours of morning its like sleep all day, party all night it was fun and how i wish i'm there again. And lastly the Maskara festival it is a dancing festival whom the dancers gets to wear a smiling maskara all aorund bacolod and the plaza is full of kiosk and store where you can drink and find chicken inasal all night long... wew... i really love bacolod.. by the way try to go there during maskara festival the annual celebration of this festivity is on the month of october.

I have been in Bacolod City twice and what I like the most is the city itself. The city are very unique compare to others. I like also the way of living of people there and the friendly people. I used to eat the different delicacies they have their and there so many stores which sells this kind of products which are god for pasalubong way back home here in Davao. I missed Bacolod a lot it is now 4 years since the last time I visited the city and I hope I will be back soon, i missed the chicken grilled and that is my favorite.whew!
