for all 4 members on mylot who list 'electronica' in their musical interests ;) (hopefully more will join us)...you MUST check out the japanese band 245! i admit some of their stuff is a bit cheesey due to singing, but i've gotten used to it, because the electronic bits are so catchy! there's not a whole lot of info about them out there on the net yet, though they've been around for a few years already. i'm trying to convince the band leader to take their upcoming tour to north america ;) and he didn't say no!:)

Where can I find some of their music to listen to? I've always been fond of Japanese music. Dir En Grey was a little odd to me at first, but I quickly got hooked. I'd be curious to hear something from a more electronic genre.

http://mu-mo.net/id/245/discography/product/CTCR-16067.html http://mu-mo.net/id/245/discography/product/CTCR-14472.html these are sample clips from 245's 2 cd's remember that some of the songs are pretty cheesey ;) my picks though if you have to judge by only hearing the short clips....listen to 1000 lights, cosmic dream, and spectrum :) if you like upbeat electronic (samples, dj mixes etc) you could also check out the japanese band called fantastic plastic machine. they are more slick than 245 and have many more cd's released so it should be easier to locate their music.

yes i really love their music. i am a big fan! the music is mostly created with digital instruments, like computer, or keyboards. they also use some acoustic guitar, and singing simple melodies! i think it is good music for dancing!
