who should be given importance in taking major decisions in a family

In families some decisions are serious and not questionable as one person may keep the leadership. May all had their own views but ultimately decision is taken by one who is that person......

um...it should be the who is the elder most one in the family o it should be the one who is educated if the elder person is nt educated....

Some people are educated and elder too but to run a family common sense is more I think who use and who can manage well. I may consider that person. Ultimately family is the backbone were a worthy society is to be brought up
