Ethernet is a local-area network achitecture developed by Xerox Corporation in cooperation with DEC and Intel in 1976.
Internet is global network of networks, linking the whole world's computers sharing the TCP/IP protocols. Through this all the computers connected exchaing infomation.

ethernet is basically lan ie local area networking..........
Internet is A network to which all the computers of world....
may it be security systems.........,corporate world.......music world...................
etc.......
ethernet is local area networking u get connected to group of persons who reside very near to u and share whatever u want.
on the whole..
internet is global
Ethernet is LOcal
