Why do most men always run after artificail or outer beauty of women and ignore her natural or inner beauty. What is the defination of beauty according to you.

"BEAUTY" CANNOT BE EXPLAINED JUST LIKE THE WAY YOU GIVE
DEFINITIONS FOR DIFFERENT THINGS IN SCIENCE!
IT ARISES OUT OF THE HEART/MIND AND OVER POWERING
THE MIND/ HEART OF THE MALE!
IT CANNOT BE SEEN ..IT CANNOT BE EXPLAINED ....
BUT IT CAN BE FELT... ONLY BETWEEN THE TWO CONCERNED..

'Beauty' is more of a relative term. I think both outer and inner beauty has got their own importance. It always makes a good first imprssion if you are good looking, well dressed and take care of yourself. For instance, body/mouth odour might often prevent you to getting started with a person. Later you may realise that he/she is worth having even with some occasional smell :). But sometimes, you may just not start the relation because of it.. You know what i am trying to say..
In the same way, if i was to given an option between two person, i will prefer one who is good looking ( to start with i.e.). Now , as i said before, it might not be good looking for you, s they say beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. But what i am trying to say is that, anyone would like to start with what he feels is 'good'.
Thoug i agree, as one matures, he gradually realises importance of iner beauty and also, with age one gets wiser and i guess his preferences also changes. A good figure might appeal to a me at 20s but a caring FAT wife would do for me at 60 :)

Many years ago I met a young couple and I couldn't help wondering why such a handsome man would marry such a plain woman. That couple became close friends and it wasn't long before I considered her to be one of the most attractive women I knew. Her beauty came from within. She had a lovely personality. She really shone and I could never understand why I had at first thought her to be plain.

Thanks for your reply. Sometimes what you see is not what it is actually, if they were not your friends and you had no chance to talk to them, you would have never discovered the secret.... that's why first impression should not be the last impression. Every body should get a chance to prove himself.
