Milk contains certain amount of fat in it. Are they healty fats or not so healthy fats? Does drinking milk makes you fat? I know UHT full cream milk does, but does pasteurized milk make you fat?

I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, we drank nothing but milk right from the bulk tank. Nothing was done but filtering and cooling, just the way nature intended it to be. I would easily drink a gallon a day, I was 6'2 and 168 pounds when I graduated high school. Never having gained weight, nor getting a cavity until I stopped drinking natures best because I moved off the farm and started buying milk in the store. I personally don't think milk makes you fat, its a natural food. Video games and office jobs make you fat.

I must agree that sitting down all down in front of the pc, television and office desk makes us fat as we dont even bother to move an inch in the comfront of our chairs.
wow you drink 1 gallon a day? thats quite a sum of expense for milk! Lol. getting milk directly from the farm is impossible for me. i came from an urbanized city and we dont have much farms around.

As milk is rich in protein ,drinking it without doing any good exercise would definitly make you fat. If all the calories that you get from milk are burned by perfect work environment then milk is a healthy product other wise it would definitly increase you fat.

Anything in excess can help you gain weight. I also dont think the pasteurized milk makes you fat, It is the homogenization of milk. When you homogenize milk, it changes the molecular sturcture of milk, and your mody can not metablize it the same way.
