What was your 1st Green Day album?

The bought their first album Dookie.I was 14 years old.Its one of my all time favorite albums coz i like almost all the songs and still know the lyrics.I was a fan then,I still now.

I've been a fan since Dookie hit the shelves (I forget how old I was, but my very early 20s)--you know, when that SoCal punk music revolution was hot? I'm about the same age as Billie Joe (yes ladies, he's in his early 30s at least!) and he's doing what he loves. Now that's someone to admire...I'm not as big a fan as my daughter, who's grown up listening to them and used to call them her 'neighbors' (we live in NJ!).

I bought Dookie at the age of fourteen. I still consider it one of my favorite albums of all time.

the first album i LISTENED to was i think dookie when i was 5/6 years old. my brother had the dookie cassette tape (haha yeah waaay back!! lol) and i would always BEG him to play it while he would drive around taking me out for rides in his car. i thought i was 4 when dookie came out, but then recently i looked at the copyright date and saw it came out in 1994 so yeah, i felt dumb! haha what do you expect, i was so young. the first green day cd i bought was international superhits when it came out in 2001. i never bought a cd of theirs before because that was during the days of napster and all. haha. so ive been a green day fan since i was 6 so thats 13 years.

The first Green Day album I bought was for my son-- I guess he was about 14 at the time. I think it was Dookie. I like Green Day too, which really annoys him!

The first Green Day CD I got was Kerplunk. I've been listening to them since the day I was born. Growing up, I listened to them for the longest time. Then I fell by the wayside into the inevitable nsync thing. Thank god that only lasted a few years before I heard 'Holiday'. I come home, asking my mom to buy methe CD, and she was like, "Oh Green Day came out with a new CD?" It shocked me at first, but then my mom handed me her copy of Dookie and said, "Go upstairs and listen to this. Maybe it'll jog your memory." I've been a devoted fan my whole life basically, and I pla non continuing that way.
