Mobile Phone a Status Symbol

Yah ofcourse this is very much there in india... Especially youngsters are really addicted to it...

Well, there was a time once when mobile phones were taken as a status symbol. But in todays scenario, I think it is more for use rather than a status symbol. Today, mobile phones have become so common, cheap and affordable that evry common man has been able to get one for him. It is no denying that Mobile phones are very very useful.. People from every category of the society using the Cell phone rules out the belief of Mobile phones as a status symbol! But ya, very expensive Mobile phones somewhat represent the status!

my answer is no, because in my location, they sell it for only $20-150, including the high tech gadgets or the new model, they sell it if they dont have money, even a poor people can own this high tech mobiles, because theres a lot of seller here in cheap prices if they dont like it or want to change their mobiles, they sell it for only $20-150, it depends upon the model. so mobile phones is not a status symbol.

Hi-End mobile phones are status symbol. not every phone.
