I'm sure most of you remember my discussion a few days ago on my daughter being prescribed Zoloft.Well,I have an update. It seems there was more going on than the stress of her job.I got a call from my daughter telling me she had bought herself a home pregnancy test.I told her to do the test while she was on the phone to me.So she put down the phone and went and did what she needed to and then picked up the phone and told me there were TWO blue lines :O .I told her immediately to make an appointment with the docs to verify the home pregnancy test.Well, guess what??? I'm going to be a Grandmother!!!.I'm still a little shocked but wow,my babies having a baby.Looks like I'm going to be one of those young and hip Grandmothers lol.

Now it's time for you to sit in your rocking chair and start knitting :) ... or maybe grandmohers don't do that anymore lol.
I'm very happy for you both, tell your'e daughter congratulations from Iceland! I know this will turn out to be the best that could happen in your family :)
Don't you all just love babies? :) God I want to go out and buy baby clothes now lol.
Congratulations again!

First off Congrats!!! Make sure the doctor that was going to prescribe the Zoloft knows she is pregnant. Some mood stabilizers Can adversely affet babies.
Have fun.

Well, CONGRATS!!!! That is wonderful news! I think it is awesome that she called you and had you on the phone with her! I would really reconsider the Zoloft though. That is something that she needs to talk to her doctor about.
But that could also be the cause of her moodiness, fatigue, and just not feeling well.
So, maybe she does not need the meds...maybe she is just getting a good dose of hormones going through her system. ha ha She would not be the first pregnant woman to feel like this. ha ha
Congratulations to you and your daughter!!! Your going to be a grandma! :)

Thanks brokentia,It is wonderful news if unexpected for all parties including my daughter.Luckily she hadn't started taking the Zoloft and her doctor has told her not to take them now.I think hormones are definitely playing a part here. The doctor has reccommended a psychologist,so hopefully that will help.

Wow congratulations! That's wonderful news. Hopefully the zoloft is okay to take while pregnant! Sorry, I missed your last post about this so I don't know if she is actually still on it or not.
If you are gonna be a young and hip Grandma, have you thought about calling yourself Nana? lol. My Mother-in-law is like that and refuses to be called Grandma, in a good-natured half-joking sort of way. My husband calls her "Grandmaaaw" Just to upset her and make her feel old! haha!

Congratulations to you and your daughter! A home pregnancy test was how I found out about my second pregnancy, but the first one I was sure, so I went to the doctor and he confirmed it! The kids are now 15 and nearly 14, so it was a long time ago!

Yes I remember your discussion about your daughter going on to Zoloft. Congratulations this is great news that your daughter is pregnant and going to have a baby and that you are going to be a grandmother, I became a grandmother myself last week, it is a fabulous feeling when we become grandmothers and know that our own babies are well and everything is ok so I would like to pray that everything will be ok with your daughter with her pregnancy and the birth of her baby and you will be a great grandmother I am sure.
