MyLot - the advice you wish you'd been given

So, I just started on MyLot yesterday. I'm really excited about being part of the community, but at the same time, it DOES seem really complicated. I know there are lots of experienced users out there who are making the system work, so I was hoping you'd give me some advice. What do you wish you'd known when you started on MyLot? What's the one (or three, or five) piece(s) of advice you wish you'd been given about how to make the system work for you? I want to earn lots and have lots of fun!

1. Find out interesting topics and start the discussions.
2. Keep answering the discussions started by others. But give a meaning ful reply not yes or no answers.
3.Make friends so that you get good responses.
Those are the advises I can give you.
