No, I don't expect other people to trust me as soon as they meet me. I do hope that once they have been around me for a while they trust me. I am very honest with people, if I say I am going to do something I do. So hopefully my actions and words will prove to them that I can be trusted. As for the parent thing seeing it through a teens eyes I would say it would probably upset me and make me think they don't trust me. But from a parents view point we have been teens, we know what is out there and it might not be that we don't trust the teen just other people. And we also need to know if you have gotten yourself into things you can't handle.

Trusting is one of the things we made with decesion and we prove it with people on a certain period of time.
I can't say when somebody meets me on a first time situation he/she will trust me in that instance it depends merely on how reputation you have for others and how was you known in the community or work place you belong.
Trusting needs more acquitance and more on personal background if you have good intentions and you do things on a right track you dont have problem on others trusting you. But if you made a bad impression out of your actions then it will be very easy for them to judge you that you are not worth trusting unless otherwise you prove to them they are wrong.
