I don't think it's healthy for a baby to be real chunky. but sometimes they grow out of it. I hope you sre not letting your baby get to chubby.

It depends on how chubby they are. Plump babies are cute. Babies are supposed to have fat on them but some babies are really big. I never really liked all the rolls of fat on a baby (some people love it). My girls were all tiny things. My oldest and youngest were also tall. Tall and skinny. My youngest in almost 10 months old and is growing out of her 12 month pants because of the length. But she only weighs 17lbs. My oldest is now 6 1/2 and is in a size 6 pants but they are huge in the waist. She only weighs 34lbs.
My son was a bit chubbier and I thought he was cute. My dad thought he was fat and worried constantly about his weight. He is 5 now and average for his age (well a little big for his age but he is also tall so it evens out).

I don't care as long as they're healthy but my baby's dad wants his baby chubby so I make sure she's well fed so that when he borrows her, he won't be complaining that I'm neglecting our child. She looks really cute chubby though.
