I am bilingual - I learned both English and Chinese at the same time when I was still feeding from a milk bottle. Nah... not that young, but you get the point. :P

I wish I were so lucky. I am struggling with beginning simplified-Chinese characters (and Pinyin) as an adult. It is sooooo hard to learn foreign languages as an adult. Yikes! I soooo wish I could have learned all this as a kid! This is so killer hard!

I have been struggling with all this for years. I have had to go off-and-on with my studies a lot due to battling excruciating chronic pain. Long story.
