Does Ebay charge you to list auctions?

Ebay always charges. For everything. You can search their help section and it will tell you exactly how much they'll charge you to list the item. Then you also have to pay a Final Fee if it sells.

Yes ebay does charge fees. There are fees for listing the item, fee for setting a reserve price, a fee for selling the item. The selling fee is based on the price of the sale. I haven't done anything on ebay for awhile - but I have heard that their prices have been going up lately.

Yes, eBay charges fees. In the US, they charge .20 cents for auctions that are .99 cents and under. For auctions up to 9.99 they are .35 cents but this is going up to .40 cents on February 1st. :( Also they charge you a closing fee when your item closes, it depends on how much it sold for to see what they'll take out. Sometimes eBay will have a reduced price listing day but it isn't very often and they let you know at the last minute. I hate eBay's fees but it's the most well known auction site on the internet so more people go there then anywhere else so I still use it.
