A well known doctor from our country made a study on a AIDS victim, the picture from a investigative show flashed a before and after result and a close interview with the AIDS VICTIM.
The result was amazing and somewhat give the AIDS victim hope to live longer.
Did you ever tried to take virgin coconut oil (liquid or capsule), what are the health benefits associated with it?

Yes! Its a miracle oil, it can cure different kinds of diseases. I've tried the banana flavor. It can also help you lose weight. Just drink 2 to 3 tablespoon 30 minutes before eating. For me its effective.

I have never heard of this but I do believe that some of the unconventional methods can and do work. I think when someone is sick be it with Aids or Cancer I think you get to the point where you will try anything. I know one of my friends who had cancer was getting more benefits from herbal remedies then from prescription medicine alone.

One thing I know is that it's rich in trans-fat which is converted to harmful type of cholesterol in the body ,so its not good to cook food in .It might be a cure in SMALL amounts because :
1. the amounts used when it's a food are much more than when it's used as a medicine .
2. It might contain some RARE fatty acid ,which might be useful for the immunity IN SMALL AMOUNTS ,because fatty acids are one of the building blocks of cells ,especially the cell wall and specific functional molecules .
.It can be used in beauty preparations and soap without adverse effects .

I've always wondered if it is true that coconut oil will actually help anything. I have thyroid disease, and some say it can actually cure it, so I began cooking with organic virgin coconut oil, but I haven't seen any results. Of course, I haven't tried just eating it because I can't stand the thought of it. Any suggestions on how to make it go down better?

I have been hearing more about coconut oil recently, and have actually started to do some research on its reported effects for HIV/AIDS victims. My mother has been drinking it for about a year now- I believe that she said she was taking it as an "immune booster and antioxidant", but I'm not 100% sure about that. She had cancer 21 years ago and has had no recurrence; she totally believes that all of her vitamins, herbs, and other natural supplements are keeping her healthy. I didn't know hat the oil was available in a capsule. I'll have to tell her that, because she did mention how she hated the taste of drinking it.

Thanks! I'm going to check at the pharmacy here, but I'll probably end up having to go to the healthfood store, which is OK. I think I'll investigate it more and consider taking it myself, also.
