for a user like me who does not have the money to buy a laptop, i would prefer desktop pc. i can play games, browse the internet and type documents using a desktop pc. if i have the money already, i will buy a laptop and would prefer using it.

in terms of customizations of hardware, i like a Desktop PC. it has higher potential to be customized. for a Laptop, you have to buy it exactly how you want and cannot by easily changed. i personally do not like the format of the Laptop keyboard. it is now better now that you can buy a full size keyboard on the laptop. for me, i play games once in a while on my computer and it takes a lot of CPU and RAM resources to play. with a laptop, it generally runs a bit slow or i cant get the maximum potential of the game. for me, i play once in a while im rarly out of the house where i would need a laptop. laptop bring convience , but desktops bring power in my opinion. so i would choose desktop over laptops

desktops is good for performance, laptop is good for mobility. Each of them have advantages and disadvantages. Depends what you are looking for: for sitting home I recomand you a desktop(i preffer INTEL processors and motherboards fpr beter compatibility not AMD CPU). When you're away from home, in your car i suggest a laptop (ACER Laptops are good and cheap, Lenovo are good too). And try to use a desktop PC in a fastfood

the only difference between laptop and desktop is that desktop is not portable where as laptop is portable. I'm having both Desktop as well as Laptop but I prefer to use laptop because of its portability as I can take it anywhere and anytime.

I prefer a laptop because you can bring it anywhere. It is much more convenient than having a PC.

desktop pc for me laptops only have one advantage in my opinion thats that they are portable and you can move them around easily because they are small. also a laptop will never last and be as reliable as a desktop pc al lthe time its being used, the batterys tend to break down quite easily after using them several times you need to buy a new one, the hard drives arent too great either they can be unreliable and often break. the keys on the keyboard can come off, now if that happens to a desktop pc you can buy a new keyboard for a few pounds with a laptop it will need to be sent off to be fixed. desktop pc's are far easyer to repair than a laptop too theres many parts you can quickly and easily remove and replace where as with a laptop you have to take lotsof screws out to get inside it to replace anything. laptop pc's arent usually upgradable, you could possibly have more memory or a larger capacity hard drive put into them but thats about it and if your lucky you might beable to upgrade the processor but thats a rare occurance. laptops are over priced you get more for your money with a desktop and you have a lot more options too, a pc tower can be placed under a desk a keyboars shelf can be fitted inder a worktop or desk and a monitor and speakers put on top of a worktop or desk and you wouldnt need any more than 1 metre square space for al lof this plus your chair of course.
