A how do you pick a good name for your blog? Do you use your name, something that signifies yourself, or just the luck of the draw?
B Are there any blogging sites that allow you to see who's checking your blog? IP numbers or anything else telling you.
C Are there some topics just off limits to certain blog sites?
That's all I can think of now.

Hi whybird.
I pick a blogname according to my uses, how it represents the soul of me and whether it's going to be public or private.
If you want a private blog, anything goes. If it is to be public, however, in tandem with, say, income-streaming, you might want to pick a name according to your purpose, something a tad more professional. For example, if I wanted to create a blog about income streaming (several different streams of internet-based income), I would call it, say, '(name's) Income-Streaming Tips,' for the ultra-pro sound; or for something a little more quirky (yet still professional-looking), 'Income-Streaming Fun, by (name).'
These are just examples. I hope this helped.
Blessings and Happy Blogging,

I think most blog sites let you post pretty much anything you want as long as it's your own. Some don't permit adult stuff or will require you to mark it as adult for the readers who have a filter turned on.
Wordpress.com has a very nice reader tracking system. I don't think you get ip addresses, but you can see where they come from on the net, and can also find out what keywords they used to find you.

I have four blogs right now and all the names I chose I chose because they pertain to the types of blogs they are. I don't know if you can find out who's reading your blogs or if you can track their ip addresses. You can blog pretty much about anything you want to, but you have to make the decision whether you think people will want to read what you post.

I have several blogs and each of them has a name relating to what the blog is about.
As for the IPs etc - you can add a stat counter etc to a blog pretty easily - just find one the gives you the stats you want to know. And you're really not limited in what you blog about -(though depeding on what you want to do with it - add certain income streams to it etc you may find you have to be a little more picky :-) )
