Is your child a devil at home, but an angel at school?

Just wondering if anyone else's kids are like this. All three of my daughters excel or excelled at school, were well liked by their peers and teachers, yet all three in thos pre-teen years were mood swingers at home. Fighting amongst themselves, screaming over minor issues, crying at the drop of a hat etc. Anyone else go through this? To talk to my kids teachers it was like they were dealing with a completely different kid! I wrote it off to realsing pent up stress in an environment they felt safe at, home.

My daughter is the same at school or at home.she is a nice kid but sometimes when her classmates does something she joins in..But there was an instance that we were on a field trip then suddenly this boy was punching another boy,who was smaller than he is.so the principal took him aside and talked to his parents.you know what we found out?the parents were surprised that their kid was like that, because they were told that the kid was a bully and pick fights with everyone..but at home he was an angel and so quiet..so i think its hidden anger which makes him burst at everyone

LOL, this is definitely my house you are describing!! When I go to parent teacher meetings the thought always crosses my mind that perhaps they have confused my child with someone elses. My kids are always arguing and disobeying me, however at school they are perfect little angels. I think a lot of us have this problem, but I would prefer for them to behave when they are out in public than to have it the other way around.
