Girl scout cookie drama part I

Ok so I am an over zealous GS cookie mom. But... yes there is a but... My daughter enjoys selling cookies. I do all the hard work, carrying boxes, ineventory, bank deposits, coordinating the sales, etc, she gets to do the fun stuff of actually selling. My daughter is 8 and is the reigning cookie queen of her troop (most cookies sold last year) and she wants to retain her crown, and the other GS are gunning for that spot. Its competitive but they enjoy it.
Ok on for cookie Drama.
We scheduled a Table Top sale with a large chain grocery store, set a postcard reminding them of our date, called them to remind them of the date, when we show up (we meaning other members of our troop not me and my daughter) there was another troop there..
Ok. So no big deal really. The management of the store overbooked the slot. Ok still no big deal, we can bow out gracefully. However, the other troop heckled our 7 and 8 year old girls as they were leaving the store. The other troops girls were older and the mothers were not telling them to stop. How sad.
One of our by laws is "to be a sister to every girlscout" and the other troop must have missed this part of the girl scouts.
Where is the sisterhood? I bet this would not happen with the boy scouts.

That is REALLY SAD. You should be courteous and kind to EVERYONE - GS uniform or not. Those mothers were setting a HORRIBLE example to their daughters by allowing that behavior. That truly is sad, and somewhat disgusting. Shame on those girls for teasing and shame on those mothers.
