How do you choose a Surgeon?

I worked in surgery for 25 years and have seen the best of the best . And also the not so good ;-( So I have the advantage in picking a Doc . #1.I would ask him how many surgeries he has done on your type of case? Remember he works for you !! #2. Ask how the pt. did after the case. Find other people that use this doctor. Do a bit or research I know us web people are good at that . Dont be afraid to ask him or her questions. So docs are not good with people but are good in the OR. Please post your questions and comments I done give medical advice. But I can answer most questins about all facets of surgery.
