Do you notice that people sometimes barely read your post before they reply?

I have noticed it often- someone makes a post and people reply with something that makes no sense. Like someone is offering something and someone replies with their own offer, not a response to the first post. Or you ask a question about something and people tell you to try something that you specifically said you were not interested in.
Talk about what annoys you!

Then there are those people who answer the very same answer to every topic. They must just have an answer typed into their memory and paste it on every discussion. I know they're just trying to make money, but if we don't make mylot a quality site, it won't last for long.

Yes u are tight even i reply without noticing what others have said... but i do read the topic and details of the discussion.

yeah, I noticted that a lot of people barely reads what the topic is all about. There are also a lot of spammers posting nonsense which really kills your mood to post.

I have noticed this happening in some of my discussions and it is just so annoying when it happens. Once I would let it go, but now I ask them to respond appropriately to the discussion.
The ones that really irk me are those that are 'ya', 'no', 'yes' or some long story about how they are too tired to respond. Grrrr

YES! Those make me so mad. Like when you ask a specific question or request a specific response or opinion and they say, "i don't know" or "no i don't have that." I am ok with that if that is what I wanted to know but they do that crap all the time. I don't give pluses for those. They don't deserve it. Though I don't give negatives for it either.

I hadn't noticed it actually but have noticed that sometimes there is a deviation from the original topic under discussion. That could possibly come from the fact that people start to read other responses and pick up on something and they go on from there.

i get that all the time and i realy hate it! i'll say i tryed this website and is there any other s like it and everybody who replys to the post posts that website i hate it!

Most of the discussion I respond to don't have very many comments.....probably because it's way over their heads. Therefore, it gives me a chance to read all of the previous comments. Then I try to add only that which hasn't been said before. On other discussions I breeze thru them and if there is one with an answer that has more than two words I will read it. I also rate those comments that I feel deserve it.

it's good to know that a select few people do this on mylot. I have dying hope for this site but I think everyone who knows what's up is starting to retaliate...I really do hate when I start a topic, say about how much i like flags and someone shows up and says "i don't know what you are talking about" and then never come back, or they say, "hi, glad to meet you. Hope we can be friends". So terribly annoying.
