I have to go with Japan. They have numerous gadgets that America can't keep up with. They have ingeniunity in their product and they really make technological devices that can help you in everyday life. As for America, they failed to this.

Japan is the best in technology.
Japan has ruined the car industry of US.

Define "best in technology" .... if you mean implementing ideas with an unfair advantage doe to an undervalued currency then yes the Japaneese do very well ... if you mean coming up with new technology then no ... The UK is probable better than either the US or Japan on that front ... the last 100 years clearly shows that.

This is a loaded question. If we're talking overall military technology, then it would be the US I would imagine. Even then, they can't claim to have the best in all military technologies. Same goes for civilian technologies, and in the case of industrialized nations, they're all pretty much on par with each other. Most civilian technologies are developed by private companies, and many of these companies operate in many different nations. Even if a company was founded in a country such as the US, they may do their research and developement somewhere else by people of a different nationality. One example is Intel's core 2 duo computer processor which was a result of the Pentium M processor developed by Intel's Israeli team of scientists. In today's global economy, it's even harder to pin down who's more technilogically advanced.
