There aren't many 80's songs I **don't** like and many of them WERE cheesy... but they were still awesome! I'd say the cheesiest (if not the strangest!) would be "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats. From the lyrics to the video... just plain cheesy. Loved the song anyway, though. Had the 45 of it - might even still have it! Yikes! Time to clean the closets, huh?

Artist - Toni Basil Song - Mickey Year - 1982 Got to be in the top 10 cheesiest songs of all time.Sad thing is, I remember every word to that song. LOL

Bon Jovi - 80's band
I think Bon Jovi songs especially in the 80's are the cheesiest.I can still remember Livin' on a Prayer chorus 'We're half way there Livin' on a prayer Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear Livin' on a prayer'

oh, hellz no...i adored that song!!! first time i'd heard 'reggae'-typed beats in a so-called pop-rock ballad. i think the song minus the chorus is very interesting to listen to...the falls and the lifts are not typical pop fare.
