Can India remake 1983?

The way India is playing, I think that West Indies has a better chance to win (Even though he has been beaten very convincingly yesterday). The Indian team needs some serious talent to compete in the international arena. Sachin's batting makes him look like Bradman (But still he is not that consistent), Dravid's performance is wobbling, currently Ganguly looks the cricketer who can make a dent. India's stubborness in team selection is appalling. Not playing with national pride inside their heart in spite of repeated failures is inexplicable. I am a true Indian fan. Unfortunately, India winning is my desire, but realistically, they will end up in the top 3. Hopefully, I am proved wrong.

Ofcourse they can win the WC in 2007 provided every body playes to their potentail, I think most of the players regain their form in the recent series against west indies, I cant see why the wont win the WC if they play like what they are doing now

Ya there are many more chances to india to win this world cup. It is looking good that indians are back in form before the world cup . I hope we rock the world cup 2007 with this team . what do u say?
