Would you try out to be Donald Trump's Apprentice?

I don't really care for Donald Trump or the lifestyle he proports all that much. But, I like to watch the show because I think he has really good business sense that is useful to me.
If you thought you could qualify, would you want to try out for the job?

I would like to try out for the Apprentice but I do not think I would ever make it. I wonder what they base the auditions on ?

Well, I noticed that the ones that they choose for the final 16 are usually people who are what they call "rising stars". They are people who are exceptional students and are considered successful in their fields for their age. Usually they are people who are from good schools and backgrounds. But, occassionally I see someone who is self-made. All have had some experience with business managment or managing people.

No. I'd truly embarass myself on national television and he'd be sure to let me know! I could never qualify for that show, but even if I could I'd be far too nervous. I'd probably trip all over my words and be the first one to go! They wouldn't want me there. lol

I've often wondered if I would be the first to go, too. I've noticed that when the group gangs up on someone, Trump says he has no choice but to fire them, even if the person is doing a good job and was right! I don't like that. I also couldn't live with multiple roomates, either.

First off, I don't even watch the show. However, I'm not a Trump fan, so I wouldn't want to be on the show. I can't say I'd want to do any of the reality tv shows that are on.

I know what you mean. I think it takes a certain personality type to begin with to be on these types of shows.

I wouldn't want to try out for this show. One of the reasons I watch the show is to see what a good business owner should and shouldn't do to be successful. Each episode we see somebody doing something completely wrong.
Nicole should have gone home this week, as she was sitting with Tim and Frank was doing the work. On the other team, James was wasting a lot of time and the team had a problem because of his actions.

That's the reason why I started watching it. I wanted to learn something about business. To be honest, one night I forgot to watch it and haven't watched it since. I think I last left off after the 7th episode. I have been watching them on NBC.com, but haven't had the time to do so, lately.

No, I've personally met the guy. He's wealthy that's for sure. But we don't have the same business passions. However, I'd like to work with Richard Branson again. He's as wealthy as Trump but has a more defined and full personality. When you put them side by side there's a sense of charisma that Bransons has over Trump. Trump has the corporate feel while Richard Branson will take you for the ride of your life. I did a business meeting with him, over spelunking!!! Trump will offer you comfort while Branson will offer you an unforgettable adventure.

Yes, I would. I personally like Donald Trump and I think that he is one of the best businessmen that you could ever be an apprentice for. He knows how to make big money and he has the contacts to allow him to make that. It would be a great learning experience and I think that it would allow you an edge in the professional business world.

Not if you paid me a billion dollars would I ever want to work for the overbearing ogre. Whoops! Now the big bully is going to hunt me down like he did with Rosie and say nasty things about me. I'm glad his show got canceled. I've had enough of his big mouth. Good riddance Trump

Waw, interesting question desertdarlene. It's a great show by Donald Trump indeed. I myself enjoy watching it very much and have learn from Trump a lot from the way he interview and giving lessons.
If there is any chance for me to try out the job, I will for sure go for it. Everything in this world worth trying. "No action nothing happen, take action miracle happen." I'd love to work for great people!
Sincerely,
Tanady
