Do u feel Dhoni should opening the innings

i think his position in which he comes now is correct and he has played extremely in that position. he has lead india to victory in a quite number of matches from tat position..

I feel we should not exhaust dhoni by sending him to open or ahead of his lower order slot in each and every game. He must remain in the lower order as usual. But if we need 300 plus to win, then he may be tried in the opening slot or 1 down, where if he really gets going, the target becomes attainable. Eg. his ton against lankans.

It's a gud option dude bur since WC is ahead so it should not b come into play. Yes, he can b used as 1 down (3rd position) batsmen. At one down position, he has done well in some matches.

Its not a good option ,i think because all ready opening batsmen are selected and if dhoni like player play in the opening india will get lack in run at the slog overs there fore he must be placed in such a way that he can explore the slog overs

i think he is more suited to come one down rather than opening as he can carry on the goodwork of the openers at good run rate but if irfan pathan is playing in the starting eleven ,than pathan should come in at three and dhoni sould bat at his regular place

I think Dhoni is just perfect in his batting position. He likes to play short coming late down the order. That's his playing style. Opening in a One day game is very difficult as you have to build the innings and also you have to play big stroke. It is not that easy.

i think if india are to chase any thing more than 300 hundred especially against big teams

No i dont think so dhoni should open the innings...for opening the innings u need experience..dhoni is playing well at his position..we need somebody to accelerate the score at the ending overs

no. dhoni is at his best when he comes at the end of the innings. he should bat at 5 and 6 . tat position will help him hitting... but sometimes he can be promoted is some situations like when india has got a good start then v can send dhoni at 3 . not always

i think he is to send one down or two down coz he is blasting player,he belives in beating the bowler everytime 'n' it is not good to start this type of batting in starting.so he should b send onw down or two down

It is a risk for team India, if Dhoni opens the innings.
