Which of the three is your favorite? The first one seemed a bit hokey for my taste but I can still watch Evil Dead II over and over and laugh my butt off. Do you ever get the feeling that they just don't make horror movies like this anymore? To me there are so many small things in the film that make it an incredible view. Things like when Ash cuts off his hand and traps it under the paint can, the book on top of it is "A Farewell To Arms".

Hands down, I like Army of Darkness the best...lol... Bruce Campbell was awesome in the role, and it translated into me watching him on television as Briscoe County Jr. some years later. You make me want to add the film to my Netflix list now!

EDII was darker and had more one liners and things that were just sort of left there for you to pick up on. AoD was sort of ... flat out and in your face with the humor. Don't get me wrong, I like them both :]

I think my favorite is Army of Darkness, and only because of the part where he goes off on the crowd after he gets out of the pit and calls them all something like "primitive screwheads" and shows them his boomstick. Also, the part with the little Ash's is kinda comical later on in the movie......by the way, I hear they are trying to get a Bubba Hotep 2 made...

I have never seen Bubba Ho-Tep. People have talked about it but I've never seen it. Something tells me that I am missing something good ...

You have to give a lot of credit to the original as it was made for under $50,000. If you get the chance you should read Bruce Campbell's autobiography "If Chins Could Kill"...a lot of insight into the making of the movie. For me though, the best has to be Army Of Darkness. Just some great one-liners and Campbell at his best..."Give me some sugar baby"

I really like all of them, but I think that the first one was a little too slow. I actually slept through the ending of the first one, but I went on to watch the second one and third one anyway. My boyfriend loves the whole series and insisted that I watch.

The first was ok but I didn't get into it as much as the others; the second and third were so awesome - we watch them on a regular basis and throw around the one liners all the time. Gimme some sugar baby ...

They are all great but # 2 and # 3 are the ones that I watch over and over, the first one just doesn't have the same type of impact for me.

Between those three films, I really have to go with Army of Darkness. Though there were some really "campy" parts to the film, I really enjoyed a lot of the humor that Bruce Campbell brought to the role. It is one of those silly films that you can watch while multi-tasking as well, and still come away laughing your head off.

For me it's between the original (it's amazing what they did with so little money) and Army Of Darkness which has so many memorable Bruce Campbell one-liners. Id most likely give the edge to AOD.
