Your State Representatives and Congressmen

Has anyone ever contacted a state representative or congressman for help with a problem, and if so how did it go? Did you get the help you needed, or did they just ignore you and your situation?

I have never tried it, although I have heard that with some it does work. Just like anything else dealing with government their are some good and some not so good. It would likely depend on who your particular representatives are. I would think that because they depend on your votes that they would likely at least respond to you even if they couldn't help.

WE all should think that if we needed there help for some sort of matter that they would be there and offer to help in some way. Like you said they are depending on our votes and it would look alot better for them come election day to know that they helped people instead of just being all talk.
