Do any of you have kids that just wont eat anything? We have 5 kids and it is so hard to pick a meal they will all eat. I have 2 that hates noodles(of any kind) and 3 that loves them. 3 of them hate green beans, always has. They eat other vegis, but not that. One that all he wants is what we dont have. They are driving me nuts!! Any help???

I suggest you do what my mother always did - and not just with us, guests got the same treatment. Her basic attitude was that "This is the meal I prepared, if you don't want to eat this, there's butter and bread. Help yourself." Mostly we opted for the food.

i guess i just see things different. I hate liver and wont eat, I cant see making my kids eat something i know they dont like. Not just something they dont want. You think the same way my husband does. He hates olives, maybe I should make him eat them next time we get them. Thanks for your responce.

My guess is that they are all old enough to know that you must try whatever is on your plate. You need to make that a rule in your house. Also, if they try it and HONESTLY don't like it - then they can make themselves something else. Just keep giving them these items. Make a meal that you want to serve and they will have to follow the house rules.

thank you for your responce. yes, they are old enough, and i know there are things they really dont like. problem is, my husband gets so mad because they dont eat it, and then there are 2 or 3 different meals.

I have this same problem and i gotten to the point of fixing something for dinner. and if one of the kids dont eat it then they get nothing else to eat until they do eat their dinner. i have tried making different things at one point in time, but it's too tirering. and i can't do it anymore. so they will soon learn to eat when they are hungry.
