How tv is affecting the youth today

I've been thinking about this for a while. Television is affecting today's youth in so many ways its scary. Violence on tv makes children seem like its okay to hurt other people because only the "cool" people on televison do that. There are many other ways as well such as gang violence, harassment of women and so on. State whether you disagree or agree and give a reason as to why.
