Does Your Spouse Share Your Computer With You?

There was a time when we only had one computer. My husband dominated the dang thing. I told him that he was to either share the computer or buy me a new one. Well, he bought the new one and gave me the old one. Still not happy, I griped about the computer that he gifted me was a piece of crap. He bought yet another new one and guess what......he kept it for himself and gave me his old one. A few years later, he did buy me a new computer. Now his is acting up.

My husband is the opposite. He spends all of his free time on the internet. But what I dont get is he spends the bulk of it, probably 90% on ebay, just looking. To me, that would be boring. There is so much more to do. Pogo, checking on sports teams, jokes, you name it, but nope, he just wants to browse on ebay. Lol. It annoys me, and I dont even know why, I mean if thats what he wants to do with his spare time, it shouldnt bug me, but I just sit there thinking of all the more interesting stuff to do.

Nope he has his own. He came with one when I married him. lol We met on the internet little over 10 years ago and this year will be 8 years of marriage for us. He likes to surf e-bay and he has a fishing and hunting forum he is involved in. He has a myspace and some other things. I have my computer and a laptop. I'm on more than he is.

Cannot get hubby involved. Showed him what to do while I went on vacation last year and he just didn't do it. He will look over my shoulder sometimes but he just does not sit down to compute at all. He might play solitare though. Oh, well, I use it plenty. paying bills, emails, sites, surveys, occasional chat. Can't imagine sharing time with him on this computer. Some people I know of have a computer yet don't even turn it on every day. Some look at thier emails maybe 1 time a week. Go figure.

i and my wife both use internet.internet is the most interesting and entertaining of all. i dont know how can any1 dislike internet. I love internet and so do my wife.......i m fortunate.

I have a desktop computer and my husband has his own laptop. Sometimes he will use my computer because he just doesn't feel like using his laptop. He surfs the web as much, if not more than I do, lol. We always show each other the funny jokes that our friends email us. Or if we see something interesting on the web, we will say, "Come here Hon, look at this." So we both have an equal interest in the internet.

yes, we work on it together and surf the web. i have several places i like and when we buy online,we looks for things together. get him interested in buying something on there. or if he has a favourite hobbie, moorcycles or so, show him a site.

My husband and I use the computer a lot together. We like to download music, look at funny pics, and we read the news together. We also do our own things on the Internet.

My husband is the same way but thanks fine with me. Because if were on it I would never get to be on mylot. So I am kinda glad for it.

Oh my - no - he has his own PC and is usually working on that while I am on here. Fact is he likes to watch football (soccer) matches on line which would honestly drive me crazy - plus he likes to read the online newspapers and posrts news from his original home country (Argentina), so if he was on this computer he would always be arguing about what to look at! LOL! If I ask him to look at one specific thing on MyLot or wherever he will always do it, - but two PCs is definately the way to go in this household!!

The answer to your question would have to be that we fight over how is going to get on first lol . We both love the internet . We have another one upstairs for the children but don't have it hooked up as yet , they alawys want to be on also , even my three year old will cry that it is her turn . I believe that the people out there who don't enjoy the internet has to do with the fear of something they don't understand and don't realize how easy it is to get any info off of the net and how quick you can do it . There is something for everything on here no matter what there interests are . Just be grateful that he is not into it as much as you are as you would end up having to find something for him to do just to get on :)

We share a computer but are usually on seperately. My husband does come and look when I ask and I come and look when he asks though.

Me & hubby download LOTS of music together?

I share my computer but she has her own. It is not working very well so I let her use mine. I find that some people have different priorities nothing wrong with that. He probably gets his fill at work of the world.

my husband and i each have our own computers, in our own offices. he actually has a few computers in his office.

internet is like an electronic book... you can see thing but eventhough it's kind of like a book so people prefer to watch tv and spend less work to know thing's... if u read and tell what's the news in that page then he may be interested...

My wife has her own computer and we compare sites we've been to or sites that we visit regularly. It's great. Our kids surf the net to play flash games or watch some anime on youtube. You could probably call us the net family hehe.

i love internet. i think its better than tv . im addicted to mylot also.my hub shares his computer with me .
