Welcome to mylot. The stars are a rating system which are linked to the quality of your posts 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest. I think that your star rating is affected by how many people mark your posts with a + or - as well as the quality of the posts you make and discussions you start. Keep posting and you'll get your star rating in no time, but most importantly don't forget to enjoy your time here on mylot.

Yep butterflygirl is right. All I have to add is the same thing the first response. You have to have 100 posts to see your star since it does go by percentage. good luck and keep on posting
